Jennifer Chang Wathall

Jennifer Chang Wathall is an internationally recognised education consultant, speaker, and professional learning facilitator who works with schools around the world to support powerful, concept-driven learning. With extensive experience in international education, she specialises in helping educators design learning that develops deep thinking, transferable understanding, and learner agency.

Jennifer is a qualified International Baccalaureate workshop leader, facilitating professional development in Mathematics (Standard and Higher Level), Concepts and Inquiry in the Diploma Programme, and Approaches to Teaching and Learning. She has delivered numerous workshops across the Asia–Pacific region and serves as a Field Representative for IB Asia Pacific as part of the organisation’s quality assurance framework. She has also been invited to present at both the IB Asia Pacific and IB Americas annual conferences, sharing her expertise with international educators.

A certified trainer in the DISC™ behavioural assessment, a certified LEGO Serious Play facilitator, and an independent consultant in Concept-Based Curriculum and Instruction certified by H. Lynn Erickson, Jennifer supports schools across all subject areas as they transition toward concept-based curriculum and instruction. She also works with educators to integrate AI-powered pedagogy into meaningful learning experiences.

In addition, Jennifer is a certified performance coach, enabling her to guide schools and leadership teams through change processes with clarity, collaboration, and purpose
